The churches don't want to discuss it because it is obviously a huge embarrassment, but god basically screwed up and made the first guy gay. It wouldn't have mattered, see? He wasn't going to make a girl in the first place. So, after he botched that job he couldn't take the blame in his 'perfect' paradise, right? What does he do? What the powerful always do: shift the blame on the little guy and deny any responsibility. So, this is exactly how it happened in Paradise the first time over.
